We were totally disappointed today! The wrong food was delivered and the duck wasn't even cooked through, but in places raw. Due to language difficulties - nobody wanted / could - understand us. We no longer order food here.

Finally an authentic Indian cuisine in the north of Munich! The cuisine of the Sahaj can be compared with many good Indian cuisines in Mumbai, Goa, Dubai etc. For family reasons I have eaten Indian very often, and what the Sahaj conjures up here is really very good! As long as there is no change in this cuisine in a European direction, I will always pick up and enjoy my Indian delicacies (e.g. butter chicken) here. Highly recommended!

I was eating at your place just now. I am a cook myself and I give the kitchen my highest praise. The food came super quickly and it is one of the best Indians I know. Great. Very hot what I like. Value for money is amazing for the quality and size of the portions. The staff is super friendly. We were first at a table where loud video calls were being made next to us. Then I asked if we could sit down somewhere else. That wasn't an issue. We promptly got a new table where we had peace. This restaurant is an absolute insider tip! Fabulous. I would give even more stars if that was possible! Bravo!

Very good restaurant, the service was very friendly and the food was great. We ordered a variety of breads, dips and starters, all of which were very tasty. Incomprehensibly, there was very little going on. The portions are also a decent size.

I had lost all on hopes for finding a good India in Unterschleißheim. The other day we biked past Sahaj and saw a big Indian family eating here so decided to give it a try. And this one really surprises us. We got a veg thali for two. The qty., variety, taste everything was perfect. We found our Indian go to in Unterschleißheim! Plus the owners are super friendly.

The good thing about Corona is that you can use local delivery options to try out places in the area that you never knew before ... The Sahaj was an absolute hit! Each of the dishes was fantastic and we will certainly be ordering again! Or even better - as soon as it is possible again - like to eat there. Thank you for the great dinner! 😊

The Jalfrezi was spicy and fresh, the Naan was a bit greasy but still quite lovely, and the service was lovely. Definitely a recommendation from my end.

It's very surprising to see 4.8!!??!! I ate food like 10 times here. I must say, only the first time it was good. It's not tasty. They put too much oil in everything. Edit: I ate recently and I must say they have improve alot and hence 4*!!

My oh my....18 years and the search is over. THE BEST curry I have had in (near) Munich was tonight at a new restaurant, open only 6 weeks, in Lohhof (Unterschleissheim). The place is called Sahaj and is a 2 minute walk from the Lohhof S-Bahn (S1). From the outside I will concede it is not the most exotic looking of locations but the food... my oh my. Finally an Indian restaurant that actually produces flavour, nuance, texture, depth and not from one mediocre base sauce that is pimped to try and insinuate a jalfrezi or a dopiaza or a korma or a vindaloo and finally somewhere that does not try to pass off deep fried onion rings as onion bahji!!! It was a revelation and no I am not an investor in the place, just an incredibly grateful curry lover that has discovered the best indian restaurant in the last 18 years of searching, just happens to now be on his doorstep. Please try. You will not regret it.

Very nice friendly restaurant with great authentic Indian food. I love Indian food and in Germany this is as good as I have found. Hidden away - but very close to the S1 sbahn.

This place is awesome! We order take out every week and every dish so far has been amazing. The quality is great and the staff is very friendly. Every time my husband goes to get food they offer him chai. 😊

I went here with my friend for an evening meal last night. I had seen it the other day when out for a walk with my parents. The food was AMAZING. I have been out to many Indian restaurants in Munich and I can honestly say this is probably my favourite. The food was fresh, the amount of chicken/vegetables in the dishes was good, food tasted and looked incredible. Staff were very friendly and got us more rice or sauces whenever we asked. Was really very impressed and will definitely be going back.
